The Comprehensive Package includes all the symposium events: the Opening Ceremonies, the academic key note address, all the academic program presentations, the “Round Table” panel discussions with the masters and researchers, the Grand Showcase featuring performances by the masters, morning sunrise practices, Tai Chi Training Methods workshops with each master, an informal “Fireside Chat” with the masters, the Silk Road Bazaar of tai chi-related products, the Closing Ceremonies and Farewell Friendship Party.

Note: Symposium fees do not include lodging, meals, or travel.

For information about lodging in Selvino click here.  The listed hotels and B&B’s are offering special rates for symposium participants and include accommodation and meals.  These rates expire on February 28, 2019, so don’t delay in booking your accommodation.

One Day Passes

A One-Day Pass includes all events in the Symposium schedule for that day: morning sunrise tai chi practice, masters’ daily training methods workshops, academic presentations, the Silk Road Bazaar featuring tai chi-related products, and the day’s special event.

Monday, May 27                                                                                              $65 USD

Milan/Bergamo/Selvino Shuttle

We will have a shuttle service between Malpensa Airport (MXP), Orio al Serio Airport (BGY) in Bergamo, the Bergamo train station and Selvino on May 24 and return on May 30.

The cost is $24 USD per person one way between Malpensa Airport and Selvino and $18 USD betweem Bergamo and Selvino.  This cost is separate from the symposium registration fee.

Tournament

Sunday, May 26 is the Yang Family Tai Chi Cup, a tournament of all Yang tai chi chuan styles. This will be a gathering or reunion of Yang tai chi chuan practitioners and a time to come together in Yang tai chi chuan. Competition will be for both individuals and groups with events in bare hand, sword and saber forms.

Yang Family Tai Chi Ranking

For members of Yang Family Tai Chi (the International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association), the tournament will also be an opportunity to be assessed for Eagle or Tiger ranks.

Registration is done by on-line registration.

On-site registration will be available beginning Friday, May 24 and daily through to Wednesday, May 29.

Registrations are complete upon receipt of the full symposium fee and a signed and dated Waiver/Release form.

There is a $36USD Administrative Processing Fee that is not refundable.

Cancellations and requests for refunds of Symposium Registration Fees may be submitted by phone or email. Cancellations made by phone must be followed with a confirmation in writing, either by mail or email. Refunds may take up to three weeks to process.
